Artist Statement:

I am an artist because of my art teacher in school days and support of my mother and wife. Art makes me feel the true myself in connection with the universe. I believe Art of seeing and Art of expression are like heart and soul of an artist!

 

Artist Profile

Muralidharan Alagar enjoys Expressionism and surrealism. Vigor and subtleties deluge in his creations. His favorite subjects are people, bull and nature. Experiments with colors and tones.  

Oil, Acrylics, Watercolor and Charcoal are his favorite mediums. He experiments with all mediums that suits his specific themes.

 

Biography

-               1973 Nov Born. Residing in Chennai

-               BE - Electronics and Communication Engineering - 1994, CIT Coimbatore

-               Engineer in Electronics and Information Technology for 20 years.

-               As Artist and Photographer, solo and group exhibitions, contributed to magazines.

-               Social contributions of art by wall paintings and Art appreciations to school children.

-               Founder of 'Chennai Weekend Artists' group. Sketching on location every weekend in Chennai.

-               Conducted various Art theory and practice sessions for open community.

-               Working as Designer and Artist. Also does wall murals.
